No. Full-chip describes the decorative flake finish direction, not one fixed coating chemistry. Depending on the actual product system, decorative flakes may be used with epoxy, polyaspartic, polyurea, urethane or layered resinous components. GaragIQ identifies the actual system in the proposal.

Can I see flake samples before selecting a floor?

Where actual samples are available, they are a helpful way to compare color directions. GaragIQ shows only blends it can supply and clarifies that the finished floor appearance may vary slightly with flake distribution, lighting, surface size and installation conditions.

Does a full-chip finish hide imperfections or dirt?

The multi-color flake appearance may make ordinary dust or small visual variation less noticeable than a uniform solid-color finish. It does not repair concrete defects, eliminate cracks or spalls, cover contamination without preparation or remove the need for maintenance and cleaning.

No floor coating should be marketed as slip-proof. Finish texture may be part of the selection discussion, but water, snow melt, road salt, spills, dirt, footwear and cleaning residue all affect traction. The proposal identifies any selected texture or additive direction and applicable documentation rather than a blanket slip-rating claim.

When can I walk or park on the new floor?

Foot-traffic, storage-return and vehicle-return timing depend on the actual approved coating system and installation conditions. These instructions are stated in the proposal and provided again after installation.

How many color blends are available?

Accepted Answer

GaragIQ shows only the real blend options it can supply. Visualizer or sample imagery is a planning tool until product availability and the selected blend are confirmed in writing.

Will a full-chip coating handle winter road salt, fluids or hot tires?

Any resistance or vehicle-use expectations are based on the actual installed system, applicable product documentation and written warranty or care guidance. A universal performance outcome is not assumed from the decorative flake appearance alone.

Can a full-chip floor be installed over cracked or damaged concrete?

Potentially, depending on the condition and approved scope. Visible cracks, joints, pitting, spalling, contamination, moisture concerns and prior coatings are evaluated before the preparation, repair and coating system are finalized.
